The Labour Party hosted participants from our international sister parties in December 2019 to observe, learn and share best practice during the 2019 General Election.
Over the course of two days, participants met with several Labour party candidates standing for election where they discussed campaign issues and how they were getting their message across to voters. The participants also had the opportunity to meet with Nottingham City’s Sheriff, Patience Fediora, who spoke about her own personal journey in politics and about the importance of representation in politics. On the final day, participants visited Dennis Skinner’s constituency office where they learnt about his many years of dedicated public service to the community of Bolsover
The visit also enabled participants to form new links with each other and share their own political experiences and best practice on campaigning.
