In April, the Labour Party and the Foundation Max Van Der Stoel began a new phase of the Future Leaders programme for young activists in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The programme brought together young people from Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, the Occupied Palestinian Territories and Morocco. Participants took part in a wide range of interactive workshops and discussions that helped develop their communications and public speaking skills.
This year, the programme included alumni from the programme as trainers. The participants enthusiastically took part in workshops and were keen to share their thoughts through the discussions. The networks they formed will help to strengthen social democracy throughout the region.
