In January 2019, members of Tha’era, a network of women from the Middle East and North Africa, met in Tunis to discuss the future development of the network, including its relations with member parties and its possible expansion.
Participants from Tunisia, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco and Jordan presented the challenges and opportunities that women continue to face. It also included the development of a new advocacy manual and a discussion on how this can be used to advance the work of the network in the future.
