2016 ELECTIONS BEST PRACTICE STUDY VISIT

Edited_photo.jpgAhead of the 2016 elections, participants from Africa, the Balkans, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and the Middle East observed first-hand the delivery of our election campaigns in London and Wales.

The Labour Party organised a cross regional programme to share best practice around the May elections.

The group met with senior party stakeholders in London and Cardiff who introduced the Labour Party’s campaign strategies for the London, Mayoral, Scottish and Welsh Assembly elections before travelling to constituency offices in London and Barry. There they met with the campaign teams to learn about the methods used to engage with voters.

The participants all expressed their enthusiasm for the opportunity to observe Labour’s campaign and further develop dialogue with the represented parties.
